I like using the license plate style camera because you can still see when you're backing up with the tailgate down. I also like that it just taps into the reverse lights for a reverse indicator for the radio, which requires a little more wiring towards the back of the truck but is much easier to install at the head unit end, as finding the reverse indicator in the dash can be difficult, especially on older cars where it isn't usually anywhere near the stereo. There's also enough wire to run from the end of a 6' bed to the interior of a single cab compact pickup.

The camera is unbeatable for the price. I was amazed by how clear it is. I've tried others and this is by far the best value for money. Only one thing to be aware of is that the power wire plug is made of very thin ga wire, which is prone to breaking. This part could have been done better, but for the price. It comes highly recommended by me.

The camera was simple to install (with the right tools), and the data cord provided was long enough to reach from the tailgate to the front of the cab on a long wheelbase, high roof minivan with the wire routed behind the headliner. The image quality of the camera on my aftermarket stereo head unit is excellent, and it greatly assists me in navigating the rig when backing up (rivals that of an OEM camera on a new car). The camera provides excellent value for money. The only issue I have is that when it's really wet outside, water droplets can collect on the lens and make it difficult to see. A quick wipe with a clean soft cloth takes care of the problem.

T-Tapped this bad boy into the right reverse light of a 2019 Elantra SE. Quick and simple. I already had a small backup camera wired into the back of my ATOTO F7 10.1, but I never got around to installing it. It literally took me 2 minutes because the wiring was already in place.
I had the older model with the dashboard monitor on my 2013 Elantra for a while and it outlasted the car. I have complete faith in the longevity of this brand.

The camera comes with everything you need to get started, and setup was a breeze. The cable is also a good length, allowing you to tuck it under the recesses and trim it so it's not visible. Whether or not your car radio has a dedicated camera rear view mirror input determines how you install it. It can also be connected to any power and ground source and mounted wherever you want (next to the license plate or license plate light, etc.). If you want it to come on only when you put your car in reverse, connect the power to your reverse gear light.

My husband's small SUV lacked a backup camera, which he desired. While I installed a separately purchased switch and hardwired it to a heat source so I could turn it on/off whenever I wanted, rather than connecting it to the reverse light, which only comes on when backing up, installation was fairly simple.

This camera is a good replacement for my broken reverse camera. The eRapta ERT01 Backup Camera Rear View, which can be easily mounted on a license plate, is a Reverse Camera Universal in general. It only requires a video and a power cord to function. This does include those wires in case the older ones are damaged. This is designed for 12-24V DC power and includes a 26-foot RCA video cable as well as a power cable.
The camera is sharp with six lenses and eight LED lights, making it ideal for reversing and seeing what's out there. The camera has a 149° Perfect View of the rear, which is ideal for the majority of setups.
Overall, this is an excellent camera for the money.

Strongly constructed. The image is clear, with few distortions and parking lines. I like how it can change the camera angle while remaining in the setup position. It comes with a detailed instruction sheet. You'll be fine if you read it before you start connecting lines. The lines provided are sufficient for a third generation 4 runner. Very pleased

Simple plug-and-play connections; RCA video jack and then Positive and Negative wire hook-ups to one of your reverse lights. Because it is so visible and runs the entire length of the license plate, the bracket appears a little cheesy. However, the image quality is excellent both day and night! I needed a backup camera that could capture color in both day and night modes.
